    The MACRD has two measures on the ballot. If passed, the first one would dissolve the current district. The second one would authorize a permanent property tax rate of $1.24 per $1000 of assessed property value. If passed, this tax would be permanent. The owner of a home assessed at $200,000 would pay approximately $21.00 per month or $248.00 per year

  • February 2024 MACRD Updates

    The MACRD is pursuing a permanent fix for the financial challenges that have plagued the district since it opened its doors in 2008.   • Business Plan for the future

    Based on feedback in the master plan, the board is considering plans for the future, including the addition of more recreation space on the MAC property, as well as sustainable funding options moving forward. BRS, an architecture firm, is developing a conceptual site plan and proforma/business plan that includes sustainable funding for capital/maintenance, reduced recreation fees and increased MAC operating hours, the highest priorities for communities in our district (based on the master plan).

    On November 29, 2023 the board of directors received a report on the draft proforma. They will receive the final conceptual plan in winter 2024.

  • Adopted 10-Year Master Plan

    The MACRD Board of Directors accepted and adopted the MACRD 10-year Master Plan at its November 29, 2023 board meeting, This plan is the foundation for the district, and provides a roadmap for the next 10-years.
