Madras Aquatic Center

 

 

The Madras Aquatic Center opened to the public in January 2008. Since the opening thousands of people from all over the world have come to see and enjoy our facility.

The MACRD mission is to promote long term community vitality and support healthy lifestyles for the individuals, families and communities we serve.

 
 

Drop-In Activities

 

Lap Swim

Lap swimming takes place in the lap pool and lanes will be divided by lane lines. Pool equipment (kickboards, flippers and buoy pull) is available to use during lap swim. Circle swimming may be required when there are more than two swimmers. Lanes are divided into slow, medium and fast.

Toddler Time

This time is dedicated for families with small children, 5 years and younger, and designed for calm, water acclimation for littlest patrons. Parents/guardians must accompany their child in the water. Depending on other pool activities, the lazy river and water fountain toys may not be available.

Independent Workout

Independent workouts can take place in the lazy river, leisure or lap pools. Aqua exercise equipment is available for use.

Pool Rules

  • Children 8 years and younger require a responsible adult IN THE WATER with them.

  • Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult IN THE FACILITY.

  • No inflatables allowed. Coast guard approved devices and foam pool noodles are permitted.

  • Spa/Hot tub users must be 16 years or older.

  • The height requirement for the slide is 48" tall.

    Safety is our number one priority and pride ourselves on maintaining a fun safe environment for all. Please adhere to the rules for your safety and the safety of others. Failure to follow the rules and or instructions from the lifeguard may result in dismissal from the facility.

  • We communicate primarily via email! Please check your spam folder, if you still don’t have anything, please give us a call at (541) 475-4253 so we can check/ update your account information.

  • • Refunds will be assessed a 6% processing fee to cover ActiveNet charges. If the refund is credited to a patron’s account, the processing fee will be waived.

    • A 100% refund will be issued if a patron is withdrawn from an activity at least 10 business days prior to the date registration closes.

    • A 50% refund will be issued if a patron is withdrawn from an activity at least 5 business days prior to the date registration closes.

    • No refund will be issued if a patron is withdrawn from an activity after registration closes.

    • Activity fees will not be refunded or pro-rated for patrons who miss a portion of an activity or program.

  • Yes! The MAC Trust has provided the MACRD with scholarships funds for in-district patrons. Please fill out the Scholarship Application and return to info@macrecdistrict.com.

  • We are always looking for new ideas for aquatic programming! If you have an idea, or are interested in leading a program please visit here or contact Shawna at shawna@macrecdistrict.com.

  • We do not take reservations for drop-in activities. But we do recommend making reservations for open swims due to the high popularity for all ages. There are spots open for walk ins but we can’t guarantee entry when we reach maximum capacity.
