On October 10, 2012, the NBA Development League officially approved the relocation of the D-League club from Bismarck, ND, to Northern California for the 2012-13 campaign. In a matter of just 68 days, under Weyermann’s direction, 2,500-seat Kaiser Permanente Arena was erected in downtown Santa Cruz and ready for play.
Weyermann joined the Warriors organization from the San Jose Giants where he served as the president and CEO of the Class-A Minor League affiliate of the San Francisco Giants from 2005-2011. During his six seasons with the San Jose Giants, the club established franchise attendance records four times, including in 2009 when the team shattered all franchise attendance and revenue records en route to winning two major national awards, “The President’s Trophy”, which is presented annually to the top Minor League Franchise in the nation and Baseball America’s “Freitas Award” given annually to the top Minor League Team in its Class.

Eric Bostard – Aquatics Manager
Eric has been around pools since he was 15. After running a business for 10 years, he wanted to get his feet wet again, so he could help cultivate MACRD’s love for the aquatics. He hopes to grow the current and new aquatic sports, as well as other aquatic recreation at the MAC. He also says the pool’s view is one of the best views around. Eric also coaches the Madras Water Polo team. When he’s not at the pool, he’s spending time with his wife, Gwen, and son, Monty, and he’s outside enjoying all the outdoor activities that central Oregon has to offer.
